Summer Pro Forage mix is mixture of VNS Soybeans, BMR-6 Sorghum x Sudangrass, and Cowpeas. This is an excellent product to plant after wheat or other small grain harvest. Best forage quality is from harvesting in 40 to 55 days before the sorghum x sudangrass heads out. Silage or baleage only.
Recommended seeding rate is 100-125 lbs. per acre, drilled 1/2 to 1″ deep when soils are 60 degrees or warmer.
