Profit orchardgrass is a late maturing orchardgrass that matches well with alfalfa and other legumes. Profit has an excellent disease package, and is especially resistant to leaf rust. Ideal for hay or pastures.
Suggested seeding rates: Seed 10-15 lbs/acre alone, 2-5 lbs/acre in a mix.

Seeding depth: Drill 1/8-¼” deep in a firm seedbed.
Emergence Time: 18-22 days
Preferred soils: Lighter to medium textured soils.
Management suggestions: May be planted in spring or late summer. Use 35-40 units of N at seeding, 50 units of N in early spring, 30-40 units of N after each cutting. Do not mow less than 3″ to allow for quicker regrowth and higher seasonal yields.
