Description

Wildlife Manager’s Mix RR™ – Midwest blend is a custom, niche blend of forage soybeans containing 5 varieties, 2 forage types, a climbing soybean, and 2 soybean varieties that are tall, high yielding and broadly adapted for the Midwest.  The blend features 4 maturity groups which mature at different times and allow the deer to feed on both mature soybeans and green leaf tissue.  You will get high tonnage, excellent browse tolerance and great seed yield all in one bag.  Wildlife Manager’s Mix RR™- Midwest does best in the following states:  Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, southern Wisconsin, and lower Michigan.  Wildlife Manager’s Mix RR™ – Midwest is great for deer, upland game birds and wild turkeys.  Taking early orders for spring 2017, product will be available in mid-April.

Suggested seeding rate:  Min. 140,000 seeds (1 bag)/acre

Planting depth:  Plant ¾” to 1″ deep in a firm, moist seedbed.

Preferred soils:  Well drained soils, prefer locations where there is  full sunlight

Establishment:  Plant in spring to early summer is best.  Seed should be inoculated before planting for best results.  Can be planted with a drill, no-till drill, hand seeder or broadcast spreader.  If broadcasting, make sure seed is covered with soil and roll or pack soil after seeding to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.  Best to start with a clean, weed-free seed bed.
