VNS Common Medium Red Clover is a short-lived perennial that is winter hardy. Typically common medium red clover is not as high yielding or as persistent as the more premium red clovers. It is best used in a short rotation for forage or as a nitrogen-fixing cover crop. Seed is pre-inoculated and coated with 34% seed coating. Seeding rate is 10-12 lbs/acre alone or 2-8 lbs/acre in a mix.
