Our Forage Oat & Pea Mix is a premium forage mix that can be seeded alone or with alfalfa as a nurse crop.

Our Forage Oat & Pea mix is comprised of 60% premium forage oats and 40% 4010 Forage Peas. This mix will produce a moderate protein level while maintaining yield and palatability. Recommended seeding rate is 50-75 lbs/acre when interseeded as a nurse crop and 125-150 lbs/acre when seeded alone. General rule of harvest is 55-60 days after planting or in the mid-late boot stage. Our Forage Oat & Pea Mix is designed to produce a forage to fit into your non-lactating cow, heifer or beef cow ration.
