Summer Grazing Mix is a warm season annual mix that is great for grazing by dairy and beef cattle. Composed of a mixture of summer annuals that will maximize collection of solar energy from the sun due to various leaf sizes and shapes. Soil organic matter is built by different root types and depths due to the diversity of the mix. Attracts beneficial insects when flowering. Start grazing at 3′ height and rotate cattle daily, never taking more than 1/2 of the forage to allow for quicker regrowth. Not uncommon for cattle to gain 3+ lbs. per day. Seeding rate is 35 lbs./acre into warm soils above 60 degrees F.
